Digital Realty Trust Prices Senior Notes

Digital Realty Trust (DLR), a real estate investment trust, has priced an underwritten public offering of $350 million of 2.750% notes due 2023 and $1.0 billion of 3.700% notes due 2027. The notes will be senior unsecured obligations of the operating partnership and will be fully and unconditionally guaranteed by the company. The 2023 notes were issued at 99.930% of par value, with a coupon of 2.750% and will mature on Feb. 1, 2023. The 2027 notes were issued at 99.924% of par value, with a coupon of 3.700% and will mature on Aug. 15, 2027.

The company also announced the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 8 million shares of 5.25% Series J cumulative redeemable preferred stock with a liquidation preference of $25.00 per share for gross proceeds of $200 million. The company has also granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase from the company up to an additional 1.2 millon shares.
