Dana Tops Estimates On EPS and Revenues

Dana, a service provider for vehicles and machinery, reported Q2 adjusted earnings of $0.68, up from $0.53 in the same period a year ago and topping the estimate of $0.52 from analysts polled by CapIQ. Total revenues of $1.84 billion were up from $1.55 billion in the same period a year ago and exceeded the Street projection of $1.67 billion.

The company meanwhile increased its FY sales guidance to a range of $6.8 billion to $7 billion from a prior range of $6.2 billion to $6.4 billion. The new guidance exceeds the Street estimate of $6.49 billion. The company also raised its FY year adjusted EPS guidance to a range of $2.20 to $2.40 from a prior range of $1.60 to $1.80. The new guidance tops the Street estimate of $1.99.
